Happy to report that the Mood of Death has lifted, at least temporarily. I apologized most sincerely to my mother for my phoneside manner Tuesday night and we're back on good terms again, which is good for my psyche. Friday I tried to use this new Access database at work and couldn't because I have an oldish version of Office on my computer. So I emailed the tech desk. Happy to report that yesterday I was reunited with 99% of the files on my old computer. I didn't pay them to recover my BSG S2.5 episodes or any of the other stuff on that hard drive, so I have lost all my BSG treats, but it's all refindable. I spent a ridiculous amount of time last night arranging the old files on the new computer and getting rid ( Read more... )
